Cleansing Bars
Pure essential
oils are 'moussed' together with Dragonfly's unique
combinations of glycerin
and goatsmilk
soap bases with organic oatmeal, wild rose petals and
lavender buds for
gentle
exfoliation. Plant oils such as organic rose hip, certified
organic shea butter,
mango butter,
jojoba and natural Vitamin E are also
included, to cleanse
thoroughly
without dehydrating the skin.
These soaps
are deceptively simple small pleasures ~
you'll be amazed at how much you enjoy them!
• Cobble Hill Calendula ~ unscented,
very emollient, especially suited for infants and those with
highly sensitive skin. Contains organic calendula oil and petals.
• Kinsol
Everlasting ~
one of
our dearest herbal teachers was a Cowichan Elder who told us that in
the old
days, the Cowichan people used the Pearly Everlasting plant to soften
their skin. Since we collect it from our home in the Kinsol Valley, we
decided to name this soap in honour of our famous Kinsol trestle...
It's unscented,
and very emollient ~ great for shaving! Contains Pearly Everlasting
petals and leaves which make it a lovely pale green colour... For
normal skin
profiles.
• Rose Petals ~ Genuine Rosa
Damascena essential oil - glorious! Recommended for
dry/delicate/mature skin - fabulously emollient with moussed shea
& mango butter, Vitamin E, rose & lavender petals and
milled organic oat meal. Not for breakfast, put it in the
shower...
• Rosemary Pumpkin ~ Seasonally available, we just love
messing around in the kitchen... this is our autumn blend, with
rosemary essential oil & a dab of pumpkin (actually,
turban squash to be precise), certified organic shea butter & mango
butter so it doesn't dehydrate the skin - it's excellent for oily skin!

• Flower Power Toning Mist™
As our
daughter moves into adolescence, she and her friends are in need of
some natural skin therapy - Dragonfly Mum to the rescue!
This gentle
toning mist contains our certified organic lavender hydro:sol with
eleven essential oils, organic herbal tinctures and natural Vitamin E
& C. Use it after our facial cleansing bars, then for oily/youthful
skin profiles, moisturize with 'Allo Bright Eyes! Hydrating Gel. Also
great to fully remove make-up, but please avoid eye area.

• Cowichan Valley Lavender ™ Lavender Hydro:Sol
A marvellous
secondary product from distilling lavender,
hydrosol is now considered the 'homeopathy of aromatherapy'. It has a
gentle, subtle effect, both uplifting and refreshing, and is wonderful
to sooth sun and wind damaged skin. Spritz as needed to hydrate skin;
under creams or foundation make-up it provides a protective mantle to
the skin. Ours is derived from certified organic lavender flowers,
distilled here every summer.

• 'Allo Bright Eyes!
Hydrating Gel™
Perfect
for the delicate tissue around the eyes, precious essential oils of Rose Damscena, German &
Roman Chamomile and High Alp Lavender in a light Aloe Vera lotion
brightens and hydrates. Also use as an all-over hydrating base before
applying Dragonfly Dreaming Phytomousse. Note: this product contains
preservatives.

Use for the care
of dry skin due to the natural effects of aging, weather conditions
such as winter or desert/beach conditions, and environmental hazards
such as pollution.
Dragonfly Dreaming
Phytomousse is extremely intense, providing a protective mantle for the
skin, quickly absorbed. To lighten it, simply put a dab in the palm of
the hand and blend with a little warm water to your desired consistency.

Phytomousse is painstakingly made in small batches from a blend of ten
plant oils and certified organic Ghanaian Shea butter, Vitamin E and
pure, natural essential oils of Rose Damascena, Wild Carrot, Vetiver
and Bois de Rose, with certified organic lavender hydrosol and
essential oil from our still. Contains no
petrochemicals, formaldehyde, animal oils, PABA, mineral or
fragrance oils.

It's not
only great for faces that need extra protection, it's a superb salve
for burns, sunburn, and other
types of wounds. The high percentage of Rose Absolute essential oil
stimulates tissue regeneration, making it an excellent
salve for scar tissue and recent wounds or surgery incisions. The high
percentage of natural Vitamin E is helpful
in lubricating the skin, as well as stimulating tissue
regeneration. (It's also a wonderful natural lubricant!)
