Rose Petals Salve
"When you looked at my poor son's
hands last week, I am sure you wondered
what he had been
up to. Me too! We think that the bad rash/spots and
cracks on the
backs of his hands is a mixture of the harsh dry weather we
have had, leaving
strong soap on his hands after washing, and probably
some boy-type play
in the woods ... play that involved fallen branches,
leaves, etc.
Whatever was going
on, his poor hands were a wreck. He was holding them
out all the time
with a pained expression on his face, and wouldn't let me
near him with
anything that might have soothed them.
You suggested the
Rose Petal Salve, and he was willing to try it (Beth,
after all, was the
one offering - not Mom).
What I wanted to
share with you was our amazement with how quickly he has
healed. You
gave me the salve on Friday evening. He got one 'spreading'
that night, two
the next day, and on on Sunday morning. As you saw when
we came by on
Sunday - about 36 hours after we got the salve - he had
hands that no
longer made us wince. The cracks were healing, the rash was
almost gone, the
tiny dots of owie were no longer visible...
And to see
Nicholas' face when we put on the salve - what a joy. He had
no fear that it
would hurt. He LOVED the smell, and he relaxed as I
gently applied it

We still need the salve as we still have dry weather and
questionable
soap-removal techniques from our young man - and we can
apply without
complaint with the knowledge that come morning all will be

Since last winter I have been troubled by side
effects of medication
evidenced in itchy, bumpy, raw skin = ugly , uncomfortable, and
worrisome because of the length of time spent suffering with raw bumps
on the thin skin of my upper chest ... tried all kinds of over
the counter ointments to no avail, my doctor wanted me to go to a
dermatologist to buy an expensive , probably chemical laden, drying

Your timing is
pretty good. I got the order this morning.
I used the Rose
Petals soap this evening and buffed with the Phytomousse. I feel that I
should be going out -- not preparing for bed! I tell you Beth, washing
my face with that soap and smoothing on the phyto is a WoW moment in
personal cleanliness. Really nice product.
The kids got
daddy's special toe and fingernail clipping tonight, accompanied with a
Fortissimo! Serious Salve rub on all ten digits :-))
